Love speaks in flowers. Truth requires thorns" (Leigh Bardugo) Two things popped into my mind. 1. My grandma. 2. We express our love, respect, gratitude with flowers. My Grandma was my first best friend and I hope everyone has or had someone like her during their childhood. She and my Grandpa had a beautiful garden full with different flowers, roses were my big favourite. Their fragrance was so intense on a hot summer evening, I loved that smell. My mum created a beautiful garden too and kept her busy until her last minute. I just hope I can express all of that love and memories treasured in my heart with this painting.
